first of all.... it never ends. second you are in your world were you can do any thing you want. now I am going to tell you all about... ok Creative mode gives you axes to almost any block in the game. it gives you invincibility and allows you to fly and may other things. creative mode basically is only used to build things like this pixel art
now survival mode is a lot different obviously. you start out punching tree's once you have wood you are able to build your home were ever you want. under ground,underwater,in a tree,on top of a hill, even in the nether. ill talk about the nether later...
once you have your house done you will be able to hold out 50/50 against zombies,spiders,creepers,skeletons,spider jockeys.
and sheep who all ways get in the way ha ha.
you have your house ready you want tools like pic axe,axe,shovel,hoe,sword,and armor.
you can craft your tools an a crafting table. You can also make them out of very different material like wood, stone,iron,gold and finally DIMOND. witch is very rare and life saving. if you have enough diamonds to make an arsenal you are set for a week diamonds are very durable ha ha. ill just go ahead and tell about the nether..
the nether is like a under world that you can only get to by a portal in my point of view its like a hell most pepole only go there to get recourses like blase rods,gold dust, lava,etc so that is mostly all..... just kidding there is a lot more. So animals there are a lot of different animals pigs,cows,chickens,sheep,etc there are also many biomes like ,desert biome,snow,normal,swamp,jungle and there will be many more with updates.
